after work, i meet baby at JP for dinner :)
saw the Swenson's advert on the papers last weekend
and we wanted to try the promotional menu :)
seriously, from my experience with Swenson's
i didnt have much expectation for the food
i mean, if i want to eat western, Aston's would be my top choice
for pizza, Pizza Hut/ Sarpino's serve nice ones
for pasta, Pastamania's is not too bad
for ice cream, theres Ben & Jerry's/ Anderson's
so why go Swenson's for the average food when you can spend the same amount for better?
hahahs
anyways, its this advertisement la
the soft shell crab thingy is look very tempting
so we decide to go try :p
its baby's FIRST time eating Swenson's main courses
he only ate their ice cream before

overall, the soft shell crab was not bad
but the fish isnt good lehx :(

for the promotional set, this was the contest thats going on :)
 
but i got to say
the service at JP's was quite bad can :(
it always take me a while to get any staff's attention
and even though both baby and i had food from the promotional menu
the contest pamphlet wasnt given to us after we billed
but we only after we enquire about the contest =.=
like wth
its not as though we never order anything from the promotional menu lo
and when we ask one waitress, she asked us to ask another waiter who pushed us to the manager who was at the counter
and he is like "you just go to the counter and ask" all the way =.=
wtf
shopped for a bit at JP
i need to get pants for dance tml :p
bought lingerie too..wooo~~~

i decide to finish the open-ed bottle since god-knows-when (prob a month ago) :p
i got gastric and lemon drinks are never gastric friendly :x
had a full lunch so i thought its a good chance to wash my tummy with some acid
i hope 83.2mg x 12 meets the daily requirements :)
its been a long day

and sometimes, people are really shallow and superficial no? tell me straight in my face and i would have owed you an explanation
talking behind my back brings you nowhere

anyway, so what if i get angry? so what if i am upset? their perception still stands

walked there and walked back to mrt station again cause xiang didnt see any Nets machine for payment =.=

xiang couldnt make it for the every thursday hip hop lesson
so after much pondering and troubling the instructor, Xue Hui, with questions and asking her to show us the vids
we decided to go for the hip hop open classes
the open classes it on mon, wed and sat whereby we can choose to go on whichever day we want
so its wednesday for us :x

not my menses ;p
but our month-sary :)
its the 8th month
the past month hadnt been that smooth sailing i must admit :/
we had much tiffs and disagreements :(
but theres no perfect relationships
so thanks baby for giving in, for listening to my endless whining, for letting me do what i want,
for standing by me even if i am the unreasonable one, for loving and taking me in your arms whenever i fall down :)
and i hope whatever worries you had in the past month would be kept away as we move on :)
lets keep our love in mind whenever we disagree
we are humans still
i am still as short temper-ed
and we are both still very stubborn people
so lets compromise ok :)
i will try my best :)

OT-ed today
for a better tommorrow :x
this whole week had been a big mess of backlogs and meeting of deadlines
lets hope my small effort to stay 2 hours later could be enough to exchange for 8 hours of peace tml
peace from people chasing after me
i know there will still be a lot of things to do tml
there is just too much and so much i can do in 2 hours
but hopefully no more hounding alright?

i had been falling asleep right after i had dinner these few nights
like after 8pm
rahhh
not very tummy friendly at all
but i still went to sleep after struggling for a while
all attempts are always futile when i am attacked by lalaland
i think i can fall asleep anywhere, anytime, in all positions
not that i am not happy about it though
sometime sleep is the best time cause we never have to think too much other than the dreams that may come :)

Today i slept at 5am, hoping that something will stop me from going work at 8am. I woke up to a fine sunny morning with no ailments.
Its raining and my throat hurts now. FML
Today i came into office, tired but happy as i knew that most of my colleagues will be on course and i shouldnt be too busy.
Then i saw my desk full of things to do since last friday. I was on leave last friday. FML
Today i queued up at the same nasi padang stall whose food never fails a non-fussy eater like me. I always prefer veggies to meat.
The veggies i chosed turn out to be bitter. FML

but this was what that had happened to me on this already blue monday :(
i hope the rain would stop before work ends today

31 Oct - 1 Nov 2009: The New Beetle (Cabriolet)
this time round, i requested to work for a day only due to filming on sunday :x
luckily it was allowed :)
thanks dennis for helping me to arrange!!
Its HALLOWEEN!!!
i already got invitations to birthday & HW party but i had to turn them down due to this work
i hope i had made the right choice :x
money in better than money out, right right??
supposed to meet 745am at Redhill mrt station
but i couldnt make it on time
in the end cabbed down as dennis asked me to be there asap due to many unforeseen circumstances :x

VW always use sunflower decorations for their beetle
and mind you, the sunflowers are real o.O
 
walked into the showroom and saw this:
 
o.O a beetle covered with real sunflowers
pretty?
i thought it look quite ugly
like "花车" :x
the other beetle wasnt decorated until so intense though
the crabriolet beetle :)
simple and nice!
 
 the price o.O and the fuel comsumption for this fellow is heavy one can
i was the first to reach at 810am
hahahas
the rest were still walking fromm Redhill mrt station to the showroom
they reached shortly and our first job for all shows were always to fill the paint for window arts for kids' corner
 
this time round we had a few new faces
most of them i already knew as they were my friends too :p
but Zann and Mike and Guolong couldnt make it on the last minute :(
this time we had 13 ppl excluding dennis who will only be working tml as he got things on today
he will stay half day before he handover to me to be in-charge for the rest of the day :x
that explains why i had to be early :x
briefing was next
just to let us know our roles for the day
no test drive counter this time
but new things were; donut kiosk and polaroids
 i was tasked to do, the polaroids of course :p hahahas
this polaroid camera was different from the ones i always handle though
the film was bigger and the camera had more settings to choose from :)
Jiajia was put at the donut kiosk :D

people started streaming me only at 9-ish going 10am
i am not hoping for a huge crowd though
its VW Beetle lehx :x
 
12pm came and lunch time was the most stressful for me
cause i got to make sure that all 13 of us gets to eat and everybody's position was covered for while they eat
i started the rotation to cover others first with Jonathon :)
first to go eat is the kids' corner people
as we cover for them
can really see theres not much crowd in the showroom
 
waiting...for kids to come and for the kids' corner people to finish lunch :)
Jonathon was feeling very cold..hahahas
so he sat in the corner
 
finally me and Jiajia took the last to go for lunch
it was ok for the both of us as we werent really famished
i had a donut earlier and standing in front of donuts the whole morning dont really create much appetities
especially when we are not donut lovers in the first place
lunch was:
 chicken rice..hahahs..nothing much to expect la! :p
 after lunch, washing hands before going back :)
the whole day was spent looking ard making sure that everybody is alright
polaroids does not generate a lot of business (though its free) as most ppl shy away from cameras (unlike me :p)
met a few very cute kids
spent most of my time at the donut kiosk chatting with Jiajia, making rounds to butler donuts
at the kiosk :p
 
 
and as we all painfully waited for the time to pass
 630pm finally come!!! ends at 7pm! :D
BUT the sky got to turn uber dark and its started raining super heavily!!!! :(
 
we started packing up slightly before 7pm as the already no crowd situation was even bleaker due to the rain
was feeling very disappointed by the rain as i was supposed to meet baby and Bob & Shiyun at CCK asap after work
we were planning to go Night Safari :x
while clearing up
we took polaroids for our own keepsake :p
short debrief after clearing everything up
we all 10 boxes of donuts to share among us to bring back as there were a lot of leftovers o.O
i didnt take any though as it will be inconvenient for me
 saw this pretty green beetle before leaving
isnt the shade of green duper nice?? :D
decide to cab to CCK as even though i got bring umbrella, the rain was too heavy to walked in
share cab with Jonathon, his gf and their friend
got a call from baby that to tell me that i dont have to rush down le as the halloween tram for night safari was fully solded out :(
upon meeting up with baby at CCK, we had dinner at Macs
it wasnt a happy one
i guess the past few days had accumulated quite a lot of stubborness and misunderstanding
yup
he thought i know but i didnt and i was thinking something else =.=
we did thrashed everything out though
hopefully the same thing wouldnt happen again :)
Bob and Shiyun didnt get to buy the halloween tram tickets too
so they came back to CCK to meet me and baby
after separate dinners
we met back at the cinema, wanting to watch "Poker King"
but its wasnt showing
so we decide to watch "This Is It" :)
 
i was never a fan of MJ
his ups and downs, fames and scandals never appeals to me other than being just another read
but after watching this movie
i really feel its a pity that we lost someone great in the industry
and he doesnt look like he was fifty la!!!
how many fifty year olds can sing and dance and be a professional as him???
i think very few or even none lo!
i had a newfounded respect for this King Of Pop :)
and somehow, though he died, he died at his peak and so he will always live in all the heart of his fans :)
i nodded off a few times in the show though :x
was too tired after a long day of standing :(
back home :)
trying to use up my camera battery :p

filming will commence early tml morning :)
