so many things happened over the past week and its was a torture to blog x.X
should really have blog everyday but i had the tendency to go MIA online when i am at home :p
So anyways, last Sunday i went Ikea again
it was the most torturing trip ever!
because i couldnt make up my mind of which tv console to buy
especially when the one i had decided on couldnt fit my tv after checking with the staffs :(
i was grumpy, grouchy and threw tantrums from time to time
poor baby had to take it all :x
we had dinner first before i finally made a decision
cost me much damage and we still got to take a london cab home which charges were $10 + meter reading :(
was damn sad one lo
but at least bro was sharing half of the cost with me
i was on leave from Mon (8 Feb) to Wed (10 Feb) for Bintan Trip with Rebecca
it was a last minute decision a few weeks ago
and i was kinda looking forward to relax at Bintan after the mad weeks at work
we had some issues regarding my passport expiry date before the trip thus i didnt get to book my ticket online
but after much assurance from various people, i was quite confident that i was able to get my ticket at the ferry terminal
and so i went, all the way to Punggol, with baby's company (he took leave :D)
met up with Rebecca while baby made his way home,
hopped up the cab which already had Rebecca's sister's family (it was their family trip as well)
and happily set off for Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal,
to be rejected at the ticketing counter there!
its like omfg and wtf?
just because my passport had SLIGHTLY less than 6 months validity :(
like thanks much ar ticket counter guy!
i kinda hate you! :(
there wasnt any options for me other than to leave the place and head home
which i did, much to my disappointment :(
its was a long way home~~
but baby came over my house for the night so i was a happy girl once again :)
decided to spent the next 2 days of leaves at home
there were much to do; like packing my stuffs and cleaning up for CNY
i hadnt properly moved into my own room since the renovations so i guessed its a good time to do it :)
but all the packing left me with cuts and bruises and broken fingernails :(
its a give and take ba
on Tuesday, it was our 11th month together ^^
and we made plans to eat out for dinner :D
decided on a place we never went before but recommended by Shurong :)
my curls only seems to curl best after bathing :/
baby met me at BB mrt station after work
and we trained down to Clarke Quay :)
walked to Liang Court and the restaurant was quite deserted when we reached :)
got a seat near the drinks station (drinks were free flow)
and looked through the menu :)
made our orders and waited in anticipation :D
food came a while later
thats something good about have little diners around :D
sizzling/piping hot goodness~~
mouth watering once again as i looked at the pictures :p
as usual i found it hard to decide what to order for my main
and had wanted to order the usual mushroom spaghetti
when i saw this Squid Ink Spaghetti which we both never had before
so i decided to order it for something different
luckily it taste quite ok and we both had fun showing off our blackened teeth and lips :p
HAHAS
the food was good on the whole; cheap and good! :D kekex
we had to thoroughly clean our mouths before going out of the restaurant though..LOLS
went window shopping after
and we decided to walk over to Chinatown for KOI!
been some time since i had the lovely bubble tea! hahas
finally found the outlet after some roaming and checking the map on our BB :)
there was a queue, as usual.
waited for some time but its worth it when i saw my cup of mango blended
check out the loads of pearls in my cup!
we continue walking the streets and alleys of Chinatown as we drink our bubble tea
there was crowds of people everywhere doing CNY shoppings
its was an eye opener for me as i never roam the Chinatown during this period and at night before :)
10 Feb, the last day of my leaves, and i finally done everything up as intended for my room
felt so happy!
finally my room looks like mine! :p
LOLS
11 Feb, back to work
i was so reluctant to leave home :/
got angered, got pissed off but still i had to work
sigh~~
Met up with Xiang, Muriel & Shuhui after work at ard Central Library
we were going buy the food for council dinner tml
Sheng Siong-ed and then KFC for dinner
uber sinful but once in a while was ok right? :x
had some mishap when i was being sent home
but it wasnt really our fault cause none of the cars involved were ours?
anyways i kinda hate this auntie neighbour of mine whom i never i had before
she made it as though its was all our faultand only ours!!!
tsk!
i think she see that we were young and bully us lo!
anyways, we better hear no news from them if not i so gonna make sure she got all her laws & theories right!
