had a casting in the afternoon
got to take cab down as we left the house abit late
thanks baby for coming along with me or should i say he dont really have a choice? :x

took about 1-1.5hours for everything to be finish
we were early and the in-charge was late
there were 2 other girls too
i hope i fared well :)
we were at some ulu place in upper paya lebar
and were famished as we hadnt had lunch
so we decided to go to Singpost building for food :)
was thinking to eat Suki Sushi or fast foods when we saw Astons Express at the foodcourt! :D
of course we had Astons :p
not sure if the price was cheaper
but they sure were generous with their butter :p

it was really about the size of a table tennis ball lo
the food was ok la, as usual :)
nothing much for us to window shop in that area
i contemplated to go City Plaza but decided not to since i dont wanna be tempted
and things there were not any cheaper unless u get it as wholesale
so with about 4 more hours to burn
we headed over to Tiong Bahru Plaza (instead of town)
since dinner would be at a restaurant at Bukit Merah :)
Tiong Bahru Plaza was small so it didnt take long for us to finish browsing the whole mall :x

i actually wanted to watch a movie to past time
but none of those that we wanted to watch matches our timings
zzzz
in the end we went to a place where we were able to sit down and rot (with aircon) :)
we just took a table in a corner
chit chat, played with our BB, camwhore with silly faces etc
hahahahs
luckily nobody came over and chase us out :p
left Mac after about an hour to take bus to Bukit Merah Interchange
we were still way too early :x
went shopping at the shophouses :p
bought some cheap housewares for my home :)
passed by a hawker centre and decided to have some desserts :D

Peach with soya beancurd was actually canned peaches with soya beancurd
nothing special but i love peaches! :D
took our time eating the desserts & rested our tired feets :)
went into the huge NTUC after that
there were so many things there that i wanted to buy for my house
hahahahs
but i got to resist the temptations! :x
only necessary things for now!
went up to the restaurant when it was about time
waited outside at the seats for baby's family to reach :)
in the meanwhile, my camera serves as a good tool to past time again :p
about 730pm, they all arrived
and we went in to meet the rest of the extended family :)
they had booked a room which held four tables
baby took my hand and we made a beeline for the "youngsters" table
hahahas
it was a less scary place than the rest of the tables
though i had seen most of his relatives :p
nonetheless, the night was a good one :)
the food was ok, the company was great
we had wine and cakes
played zhong ji mi ma where the loser got to finish a glass of wine
or a whole slice of cake (when the wine runs out at times :p)
found out that i had a common friend with baby's cousin's boyfriend o_O
the world is freaking small can! LOLS
Everything came to an end at 11pm
then we had some crazy photo takings outside the restaurant
hahahas
the youngs & the olds :p
no programmes after that though
since baby and i had to turn in early as we were supposed to be up early tomorrow :) |
