cremation on friday was heart-wrenching
it was so hard for all of us
the morning when we were preparing to set off
many of us are already crying on and off
the worse was when we witnessed the coffin going into the flames at the crematorium
most of us just burst out crying
the pain was just too real and raw
no doubt 生老病死 is a fact of life
but a lot of times the grieve is just too much to bear...

everything was over by late friday afternoon
i stayovered at grandma's as we need to pick up the ashes early the next day
5 days just past so quickly
seriously my body date had somehow stop on 10 Nov
i got to think for a while before i can tell what date it is now

reach the crematorium at 8am this morning
i was the representative for my family
tagged along with some of my cousins & relatives
i realised that ashes are not really powder form as shown on tv but are actually fragments of bones :x
we each got a chance to put a piece of bone into the urn
then the rest are put in by a uncle who is helping us with the prayers
next stop was Chua Chu Kang Columbarium where grandpa's ashes will be placed at
more prayings there & burning of insense papers
the whole thing end at around noon and back we went to grandma's

even though i can never forget the pain of losing someone so dear
i am feeling loads better already
its not easy
but especially after the chat with my third aunt
i came to realise that even though grandpa isnt here with us physically anymore
he is somehow still around
living in all of our hearts
somehow it felt as though he didnt leave us at all
just that we cant see him now
theres a feeling of peace in my heart
thats suppose to be good isnt it?
i will not cry anymore
cause i dont want grandpa to worry...

anyways
i gonna be a semi-vegetarian for at least 49 days to 100 days
semi cause its not convenient for me to be a full vegetarian
however i will try my best
and at most i would just not take any meat
yupx
maybe i can lose some weight this way :p

cause i always thought those sequels of more movies are not as nice as the first
i was rather wrong this time
the movie is humourous and enjoyable to watch :)
