Why do machines always spoils, breakdown and provides services that aint available in the most crucial time!!??

wanted to deposit some cash into my bank account
so i decided to pop by the POSB at The Arcade during my lunch hour
went there to find that of the 2 machines available
one is only available for passbook update; cash deposit is not available =.=
the queue for the other machine was thus long
but since i was already there i decided to join the queue
its was ard 15-25min wait but i was finally next in line :)
the lady in front of me tried inserting her passbook to deposit
but the passbook option doesnt work so she used her card
normally after that she would have to type her password ritex
but i realised that she didnt and the screen was still showing "Please insert your card or passbook to begin" =.=
den it dawned to me; her card was stucked =.=
next she tried the phone beside the machine (to call for help)
while i looked on with my fingers crossed :x
but apparently nobody answered her call
so she asked me to look out for her in case her card was ejected as she went to get help
the customer service officer who came back with her apparently informed her (in front of all of us) that her card was "swallowed" by the machine and she cant opened the machine to get the card out as only the people from CISCO could
the lady was assured that her card was void and she could apply for a new one
assuming that its all over when the lady left
i happily went up to deposit my cash
i tried inserting my card
insert halfway..stucked...
try again..
same thing happen

insert passbook..roller moved but book wasnt "rolled" in

SO actually the previous card was STUCKED in the machine and NOT SWALLOWED =.=
rahhh
was damn pissed
as i was really hungry and a hungry man is an angry man >.<
wasted 30-40min at the bank
NVM
thanx to the fact that i could use DBS bank
i decided to go to the DBS thats down the road as its on the way to Golden Shoe Complex where i want to get my lunch
reached there within 5min
and was delighted when i saw no queue for the deposit machine :)
went up
and the screen showed "You can only update your passbook for this machine. Cash deposit is currently unavailable" =.=

uber pissed
and i got to carry all my cash around till i am back in office!
WASTE OF TIME!!
MIGHT AS WELL DONT PUT THE MACHINE THERE!!
