dinner was at Fish&Co at Glass House ^^ its our pre 6 monthsary celebration since baby got class tml night (the actual day) :x
we made a reservation at 630pm thinking we should be able to rush down and reach at 645pm (they hold reservation for 15min) but blame the bus, jam at clementi and blame the train, slowed due to previous train we only make it after 7pm and by then, of course, our reservation was given up :x
the interior was full but we were famished thus we opt for alfresco dining (outdoor dining, no aircon) we were just talking about it earlier :p luckily it wasnt too hot a night :)
the interior seem squashed to me the tables and chairs too close to each other for my comfort so other than being aircon-less i wasnt quite sad that we couldnt get seats in the restaurant anyways the highlight of the restaurant was its second floor which only open on weekends heard that the seats up there were more comfy maybe we can go again next time to experience it :)
our table was a bit warped along the sides i was quite worried that our glasses will just slide off the table hahahas my camera is perpendicular if you see the glass base as reference, the table is quite slanted
we ordered Seafood Platter for Two :) and made it a full set, with soup & drinks
soup of the day: fish chowder very nice! :) passion tonic another nice one i dont normally drink soda drinks due to the gas but i love it :p
now i know why baby need to order another bowl of tartar sauce before the food come ;p
finally our food came was quick to dig in as we were really very hungry :p
its been quite a while since the both of us ate at Fish&Co but the both of us felt that the quality drop le :x personally, i think that maybe its the location ba seriously the reviews on the net wasnt that fantastic at first and now that we experience it first hand, i had to agree with the reviews the service was good but the food was quite lousy the prawns were dry, even the mussels which were supposed to be drenched with the garlic butter, doesnt have any hint of it :( the garlic butter sauce is like the highlight of the dish but its missing so disappointing :(
while struggling to finish the food baby did this: ^^ loves
and i did this: hahahs
no plans after dinner means home :) decide to go sinkuan's house to pick up my purchases from her in the train so with baby's company, we went over
baby got to wait outside her house while i tried the dresses and decide didnt realise that i made him wait for nearly an hour :x knew the words were said at the heat of anger but i cant help feeling sad the walk home was painful was struggling with my own stubborness baby apologised and so did i lesson to learn: dont take things for granted :) |
